u3a in Bridgnorth ...
Bridgnorth & District u3a was set up in April 2007.
We are one amongst many u3as throughout the UK linked through our umbrella organisation The Third Age Trust.
Our Membership presently stands at 324 with 15+ Activity/Interest Groups.
Covid lockdown restricted our range of activities but we are now 'bouncing back' with plans to
resume 'normal service with extras' from January 2022.
We welcome VISITORS who are in their Third Age ie nearing retirement, semi retired or fully retired.
There is no minimum age limit. Full membership is required if you wish to continue to take part in any
of our Activities.
These are held on the fourth Wednesdays of every month (ex December), meeting in
The Bridgnorth Community Hall, off Severn Street, Low Town, Bridgnorth, WV15 6BB.
Doors open from 1.30pm when we make Visitors welcome.
Our Guest Speaker starts promptly at 2.00pm followed by notices on activities and light refreshments.
There is an entrance charge of £2.00.
Click here for details of our forthcoming Speakers.
Not every member comes along to our monthly open meetings, rather choosing to take part in one or more
of our many Activity Groups. (click to find out more)
New Groups are continually being formed by our members who meet together to share common interests in
friendly low cost environments.
