U3A in Bridgnorth & District
Bridgnorth & District u3a was set up in April 2007.
Our membership presently stands at 370 with 20 Activity Groups.
Covid 19 restrictions have dramatically affected our usual range of
activities but we are trying to adapt to our changed circumstances
and look forward to resuming 'normal service' asap.
We welcome VISITORS who are nearing retirement, semi retired or fully retired and/or have completed
raising their family - there is no minimum age limit. This period of life is often referred to as the 'Third Age'.
Visitors are welcome but full membership is required if you wish to continue to take part in any of our activities.

Our ACTIVITY GROUPS:
Not every member attends our monthly speaker meetings, rather choosing to take part in one or more of our
many Activity Groups. (click here to find out more)
Members are encouraged to join Activity Groups where they can make new friends and take up new challenges.
New Groups are continually being formed by our members who meet together to share common interests in
friendly low cost environments.
£10.00 pa for JOINT members (sharing same address)
£ 6.00 pa for ASSOCIATE Members (paid up members of another local U3A)
£ 9.00 for NEW MEMBERS joining mid-year
Activity Group costs are kept to a minimum (and some are free) only recouping
expenses incurred, such as room hire, refreshments, tickets and coach hire.
